We will progress your ideas from initial business requirements, software specification, systems analysis and design through to programming, deployment, support and enhancement. We keep you involved at every stage of the software development process to ensure the solution meets your needs. We have a tried and tested software development methodology.
We recognise that there is large element of trust involved when commissioning work for something as complex as a business application or a website. Therefore we have developed a stringent business process that aims to eliminate as much of the uncertainty as possible and assures you, our customer, that your investment is protected and controlled by you during each stage of the design and implementation process.
We take the time to fully understand your business or organisation and how the software can complement your existing operation. Following a free initial consultation we identify a number of solution options within your budget. These options can provide a scaleable base for future development.
After the initial consultation, both parties enter into a Specification Agreement and from your selected option we create the Specification Document that details the exact application or site design and costs. This is a two way process aimed at delivering exactly what you need. Paying a fee for the specification (which is deducted from the final cost) gives you full ownership of the document. You are free to take the specification elsewhere but we know you will be more than happy with our own in-house design services.
When the specification has been agreed both parties enter into a Design Agreement and work on the application or site will commence. The agreement is your guarantee that the work will be carried out to the design and timescale specified. During this phase you are able and encouraged to view the development progress of your site (in a password protected test area if appropriate) so that you can be assured that everything is going to plan.
After application or site delivery both parties enter into a Maintenance Agreement, this is renewed annually and details our service level agreement (SLA) and procedures for keeping the application or site operational on a day to day basis.
